Karl Peters opened the doors to the White Bridge Auto Wash in 1987, after moving from Detroit and bringing a bit of Motor City with him. The business is run as a true mom-and-pop with their son Paul taking over the family business in 2013. Paul continues the tradition of excellent customer service and attention-to-detail, retaining WBAW's long-term and well-seasoned employees and earning yet another recognition as "Nashville's Best Car Wash/Auto Detailer" by the Nashville Scene for the fourteenth consecutive year in a row in 2021.

While we have state of the art equipment, there is no replacement for the human touch. Each car is hand-prepped and finished, ensuring we clean all of those hard to reach places other washes miss. Nashville's First & Only Solar-Powered Auto Wash
In 2011, White Bridge Auto Wash became the first wash in Nashville to install and use solar panels. We strive to be the most environmentally-friendly wash in Nashville without sacrificing cleaning quality. WBAW also utilizes T8 fluorescent and LED lighting to save energy. Our car wash uses one-tenth of the water that it would take to wash a car in the driveway or parking lot on average. Unlike driveway washing, all of our water is treated and does not drain into the the storm drains.
